The Organizers
The MedILS (Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences)
Founded in 2003 by Professor Miroslav Radman and Professor Marija Alačević, MedILS is an independently funded, international, non-profit research institute.
Its primary goal is to breed a generation of young scientists: creative, multidisciplinary professionals trained to “think the unthinkable” and produce that kind of experiments.
Research endeavours of MedILS are primarily focused on developing highly original approaches designed to provide novel insights into the fundamental concepts of molecular organization and functioning of living organisms.
NAOS
Founded by Jean-Noël Thorel and operating in more than 100 countries, NAOS
is among the top 55 global beauty companies and one of the few ones to have preserved its independence.
By working with pioneers in Health, Beauty and Well-being, NAOS developed
a disruptive but respectful approach: ecobiology or the art of preserving
the skin ever-evolving ecosystem by strengthening its natural mechanisms.
From this idea, the brands Bioderma, Institut Esthederm and Etat Pur were born, making NAOS a major international figure in Skincare.
